Entries have opened to racers for the first ULTRA4 Racing Australia event: King of the Hunter in Milbrodale this coming September. With 3 different class categories available we are expecting a wide variety of vehicle types to take on Australia’s Toughest 4×4 Offroad Race.
Bringing ULTRA4 Racing to the Hunter Valley is sure to prove popular with both teams and spectators alike. This easily accessible location is just under 3 hrs north Sydney and just under an hour from Newcastle. The location is well know for offroad events, both racing (Milbrodale Classic) and rock-crawling (Tuff Truck Challenge) of which #KOHunter will feature both. Nice cleared paddocks make weekend camping enjoyable – while the teams camp away near the pits, spectators have a choice of 3 distinct camping grounds to cater to their style and budget; Premium, General & Feral. All public grounds are within walking distance of the dedicated spectator areas.
Using a combination of both offroad racing and rock crawling courses, the course will offer a variety of tricky rock sections, steep climbs, open trails and fast paddock dashes to test out the full capabilities of the vehicles and the skills of the teams behind them. UTVs will run slightly different course from the Tuff Truck/Winch and ULTRA4 classes with lower rock clearances.
King of the Hunter 2015 is aiming for a healthy cash prize pool with over $10,000.00 initially planned. See Prize divisions.
